  • Specification: MIL-DTL-244B Grade C type II Class 1 (dated November 12 1996) with exceptions. The nitrocellulose shall be manufactured from cotton cellulose meeting the requirements of the MIL-C-206A specification.

    NC grade C, Type I may be manufactured from a blend of:

    • Grade A Type II 12.6% ± 0.15% nitrogen, and
    • Grade B 13.21-13.40% min
